The Path To Positive Change

On this day of recognizing the great leader that Martin Luther King was, we must keep in mind that nonviolent resistence is the only way to affect the positive change we so dearly need in this country and this world.

Ghandi said, "Rivers of blood may have to flow before we gain our freedom, but it must be our blood" with the understanding that suffering by activists had the power of converting opponents who would otherwise listen.

We must work towards peaceful resistance if we are ever going to win over the 99.999% of the people who are really behind us, and who want to effect the change this world needs.  We can do it, Martin Luther King proved as much.

Lets show him that we learned something from him.
